Early years (1882–1958)
The club was founded on 5 September 1882 by a group of schoolboys led by Bobby Buckle. Spurs won their first Southern League title in the 1899–1900 season and the FA Cup in 1901. They won their first top division title in the 1950/51 season.
Golden era (1958–1992)
In October 1958, Bill Nicholson took over as the club’s manager. During his tenure, the club won three trophies in a row: the Double in 1961, the FA Cup in 1962, and the Cup Winners’ Cup in 1963. The club also achieved several domestic and European titles in the 1970s and 1980s.
Premier League era (1992–2019)
Tottenham was among the five founding clubs of the Premier League. Mauricio Pochettino was signed as the head coach, serving from 2014 to 2019. Under Pochettino and with star players like Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, the club reached the UEFA Champions League final in 2019, where they lost to Liverpool 2–0.
Modern Tottenham (2019–Present)
